PrAna x LCAD Changing Seasons Pattern

My inner journey is dealing with change, the changes in my life that are happening around me that I have no control over. I took my inspiration from how nature changes with each season, specifically how a tree changes throughout the seasons. I chose to do a mandala pattern because mandalas are circle patterns that represent the cycle of life and nature and I felt that this was a perfect fit for the concept I’m presenting. I wanted to showcase each season as one cohesive Mandala and as a standalone season print.

During the time that we were given to work on this project, my dog passed away. So for me at this time, my winter was very dark and cold and lonely. There was a lot of sadness in my life then, but I know that my Mandala continues. My branches are still growing and spring will come again for me.

Rubber Stamps

Spring

Spring is a time for rebirth and new beginnings. Everything is young and bright and new.

Summer

Summertime is the prime of life. It’s time for full foliage on the trees and warm sunny days.

Fall

Fall is the time when the leaves start to fall from the tree, and there’s a chill in the air.

Winter

In the winter, all of the leaves are gone from the branches, and snow sticks to the ground. Winter time can be a representation of sleep time to collect yourself in your thoughts and process everything that happened throughout the year.
