For this project, I wanted to create a fun and playful pattern for nurse scrubs and medical masks. I noticed that most nurses and doctors who work with children wear scrubs with fun and friendly patterns to lessen the stress that the children feel when they are receiving medical treatment. This inspired me to create my own pattern that represents the love and care that goes into treating patients. I decided to use the motifs of bandages, pills, stethoscopes, and medical crosses mixed with hearts to give the objects a friendly and loving appearance. All of the motifs have a heart incorporated into their design in some way so I decided to call this pattern “Love Sick.”
